About me
The main emphasis of my personal spirituality is an inner peace and stillness, and is centered around living in a calm, peaceful way. I am not tied to one religion.
Although I come from a traditional religious background, I developed an interest in other faith traditions in my twenties, and this knowledge of world faiths deepened substantially during my 2-year Seminary training with the One Spirit Interfaith Foundation to become an Interfaith Minister.
All these experiences developed a personal spiritual inquiry and this, together with my interfaith Seminary training have qualified me to design and offer ceremonies which pull in understandings from the major traditions or from a more contemporary spirituality. I also trained in Spiritual Counselling, qualifying as a counsellor at my Ordination in July 2010.
I feel that the essence at the heart of all major world faiths is a message of love, compassion, understanding and peace.
Kahil Gibran – “I love you my brother whoever you are, whether you worship in your church, kneel in your temple or pray in your mosque. You and I are all children of one faith, for the diverse paths of religion are fingers of the loving hand of one supreme being. A hand extended to all, offering completeness of spirit to all, eager to receive all.”
